Instructions for Invited Talk Presentations

Time Allocation
Invited Oral talks: 30 minutes including Q&A

Location
Invited Oral talks will be held in the Regency Grand Ballroom, which is located in the Hyatt Regency Convention Center off the foyer on the second floor.

Equipment
Presenters giving invited talks will be provided with an LCD projector, a Windows-based PC computer, wireless lapel microphone, laser pointer, and remote for advancing the slides. Presentations in either PowerPoint (ppt) or pdf format are encouraged.

While discouraged due to the time needed to switch systems, if you need to use a MAC, please bring your own computer to the meeting room. Please contact if you plan to use your own computer.

Loading and Previewing Talks
All presenters are encouraged to download and verify their presentation to the Speaker Preview Computer as early as possible, but at least 2 hours before the session. This can be done by CD, thumb drive, or by emailing your presentation to .

The Speaker Preview Computer is located at the Conference Registration Desk on the second floor of the Convention Center. After you have previewed your talk, conference staff will transfer it to the meeting room projection computer. The Speaker Preview Computer will be available at these times:

  1. Sunday:  3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  2. Monday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  3. Tuesday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  4. Wednesday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  5. Thursday: 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM

These guidelines will ensure sessions run smoothly.  Please note that session chairs will be instructed that session time lost due to technical difficulties from not following the above guidelines will be subtracted from the presenter's allocated time.

Instructions for Poster Presentations

Location
Poster Sessions will be held in the Big Sur and Cypress Rooms, which are located off the foyer on the first floor of the Convention Center. Each poster will be assigned a number and specific board for mounting. Please check the poster list that will be available at the meeting for the final assignment.

Size and Mounting
The dimensions of the poster boards are 4' high x 8' wide. Posters will need to fit within these parameters and will be mounted by push pins, which will be supplied.

Set up / Take down
Please mount your poster prior to the Invited Talk session before your Contributed Poster session. Take down your poster immediately after the poster session.

Submit Abstract
