Conference Proceedings

Publication of Proceedings

The Proceedings will be published in a special edition of the Review of Scientific Instruments (RSI), as has been done traditionally in the past. The general rules for publication are:

  • Each conference participant may be first author on only one paper published in the special issue of RSI.
  • Full registration fee must be paid by the first author for the paper to be published in RSI. If the paper is presented by another person, the registration fee must be paid by the first author for the paper to be published.
  • A paper must be presented at the conference to be published in the special edition of RSI.

Manuscript Preparation

  • All proceedings of the conference will be published as refereed journal papers in the Review of Scientific Instruments (RSI).
  • The manuscripts must be prepared according to the RSI template.
  • The page limits for the manuscripts are the following:
    • Invited Talks: 6 pages
    • Contributed Presentations: 3 pages

Page limits will be strictly enforced!

Manuscript Submission

  • All manuscripts must be submitted through the Manuscript Submission link. The manuscript submission website will be available in the near future.
  • Follow all directions on this website to download each paper.
  • The format will be shown at that link.
  • The manuscripts are due at the first day of the conference – May 7, 2012.
  • The copyright form must be completed. It will be available electronically on the website when the paper is submitted.
  • The manuscripts will be peer reviewed. The first review is planned for the week of the conference. Each attendee, except students, should plan on participating in the refereeing process.
